Ingredients
  

For the Waffle Batter
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour or gluten-free flour
  • 1 tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Sugar adjust to taste
  • 2 large Eggs or flax eggs for vegan
  • 1 3/4 cups Milk or almond milk for dairy-free
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract optional, recommended
For the Witch Hat Decoration
  • 1 cup Chocolate Hazelnut Spread or nut butter
  • 4 pieces Ice Cream Cones mini cones optional
  • 1/4 cup Black Sprinkles

Method
 

Waffle Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, milk, and vanilla extract. Gradually combine with the dry mixture.
  3. Let the batter rest for about 5 minutes.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the waffle iron and lightly coat with cooking spray.
  2. Pour batter into the preheated waffle iron and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  3. Remove waffles and keep warm.
Assembling the Witch Hats
  1. Spread chocolate hazelnut spread on the top third of an ice cream cone.
  2. Place the cone upside down on the waffle to resemble a witch hat.
  3. Repeat for all waffles.
Finishing Touches
  1. Sprinkle black sprinkles around the cone and on top for decoration.
  2. Optionally drizzle additional chocolate hazelnut spread over the waffles.
Serving
  1. Present on a decorative platter and serve with fresh fruit or whipped cream.
