Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and prepare your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together 150 grams of softened unsalted butter and 100 grams of sugar until light and fluffy for about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add approximately 200 grams of diced marzipan to the creamed mixture and blend until fully incorporated.
  4. Beat in one large egg and 1 packet of Vanillezucker or 1 tsp of vanilla extract until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together 250 grams of flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until a cohesive dough forms.
  7. Fold in 100 grams of finely chopped walnuts until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  8. Shape the dough into small balls, roughly the size of a tablespoon, placing them on the prepared baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden around the edges and soft in the center.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
