Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the jalapenos in half and remove seeds and membranes.
  3. Stuff each jalapeno half with cream cheese and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until soft and bubbly.
  5. Prepare the bread with cheddar on one slice and Monterey Jack on the other.
  6. Crisp up the bacon in a skillet and layer on top of the Monterey Jack.
  7. Sandwich the cheese and jalapeno halves securely, and spread butter on one side.
  8. Grill the sandwiches in a skillet, 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  9. Slice and serve with tomato soup if desired.
