- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients; plain flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients; eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry mixture and fold gently until just combined.
- Prepare your donut pan by greasing it and fill each cavity about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for about 5 minutes on a wire rack.
- Melt the butter and combine sugar and cinnamon for the coating.
- Brush the donut bites with melted butter and coat in the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
- Optionally, melt chocolate and dip or drizzle over the coated donut bites.
