Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Base
  • 1 cup Peanut Butter Smooth
  • 1 cup Oats
  • 0.5 cup Sugar Brown sugar recommended
  • 1 large Egg Flax egg for vegan
  • 0.5 cup Chocolate Chips Mini chips work great
For the Spider Decorations
  • 1 pack Black Licorice Cut into sections
  • 1 pack Candy Eyes
Optional Enhancements
  • 1 cup Almond Butter Alternative to peanut butter
  • 1 cup Sprinkles For decoration

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine peanut butter, oats, sugar, and egg. Mix until well blended, about 2-3 minutes of vigorous stirring.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Ensure the dough is thick enough to hold its shape.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough, roll into balls, and place on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are golden brown and cookies feel set.
  5. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes.
  6. Press cut licorice pieces into each cookie to create spider legs.
  7. After cooling completely, add a dollop of peanut butter and press candy eyes on top.
  8. Arrange the cookies on a decorative platter.
