Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, and parmesan cheese. Add salt, pepper, and seasonings. Mix with hands for 5 minutes until well blended.
  2. Shape the mixture into 1.5 to 2-inch meatballs and press a piece of cheese in the center. Arrange on a lined baking sheet.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake meatballs for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and cheese is melted. Check temperature to ensure it reaches 160°F (71°C).
  4. Boil salted water and cook spaghetti according to package instructions for 8-10 minutes. Drain in a colander.
  5. Heat marinara sauce in a saucepan and add cooked meatballs. Simmer for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
  6. Serve spaghetti on a plate and ladle meatballs and sauce over the top. Garnish with parsley or basil.
