Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the halved garlic, sliced ginger, finely chopped spring onions, and halved red chili to the hot oil. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in 8 cups of chicken stock or bone broth, along with ⅓ cup of soy sauce. Stir gently to combine.
  4. Stir in 2 tablespoons of lime juice and 1 teaspoon of honey. Allow to simmer.
  5. Reduce heat to low and let the broth simmer uncovered for at least 10 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
