Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine bite-sized pieces of beef steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to season thoroughly. Toss until evenly coated.
- Grease the interior of your slow cooker and add a layer of peeled and diced potatoes followed by diced onions. Place the seasoned steak on top and press down lightly.
- Sprinkle a generous layer of corn evenly over the seasoned steak.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this over the layers in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle 1½ cups of cheddar cheese over the top. Cover to allow the cheese to melt.
- When cooking is complete, gently stir the casserole to combine layers before serving.
- Garnish with extra shredded cheese and parsley for presentation.
