Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine bite-sized pieces of beef steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to season thoroughly. Toss until evenly coated.
  2. Grease the interior of your slow cooker and add a layer of peeled and diced potatoes followed by diced onions. Place the seasoned steak on top and press down lightly.
  3. Sprinkle a generous layer of corn evenly over the seasoned steak.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the beef broth, heavy cream, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour this over the layers in the slow cooker.
  5. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 4–5 hours.
  6. About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle 1½ cups of cheddar cheese over the top. Cover to allow the cheese to melt.
  7. When cooking is complete, gently stir the casserole to combine layers before serving.
  8. Garnish with extra shredded cheese and parsley for presentation.
