  • 2 pounds Chuck Steak or sirloin or skirt steak if desired
  • 1/2 cup Butter high-quality unsalted butter recommended
  • 1 packet Ranch Seasoning or homemade mix of dried herbs
  • 4 pieces Pepperoncini Peppers reserve juice for maximum flavor, or use banana peppers
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced fresh garlic recommended
For Thicker Sauce (if needed)
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch mix with cold water to create a slurry

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the chuck steak into uniform bite-sized pieces, approximately 1 to 1.5 inches.
  2. In your slow cooker, add the cut steak, butter, ranch seasoning, minced garlic, and pepperoncini peppers along with their juice. Stir gently to combine.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours without lifting the lid.
  4. Once cooked, check the sauce consistency. If too thin, mix cornstarch with cold water and stir into the sauce, cooking uncovered on high for an additional 15 minutes.
  5. Serve warm, either as is or on toasted sandwiches with provolone cheese.
