Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl, combine ½ cup of softened butter with ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, 1 tablespoon of finely chopped fresh parsley, and 2 teaspoons of fresh thyme. Blend until well mixed and creamy, then set the bowl aside at room temperature.
- Pat the four sirloin steaks dry with a paper towel. Rub each steak with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and season with salt, pepper, and 2 teaspoons of mesquite seasoning.
- Heat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Cook the seasoned sirloin steaks for 5-8 minutes on each side until browned and an internal temperature of 145°F is reached.
- Transfer the steaks to a cutting board and let them rest for at least 5 minutes, then top each steak with the prepared garlic herb butter before serving.
