  • 1 cup Panko Breadcrumbs or regular breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup All-Purpose Flour omit for gluten-free version
  • 1 large Egg or flax egg for vegan

  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Salt adjust to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper or white pepper
  • 0.5 cup Green Bell Pepper chopped
  • 0.5 cup Red Bell Pepper chopped
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce or gluten-free soy sauce
  • 0.25 cup Cilantro or parsley/dill
For Cooking
  • 0.5 cup Olive Oil for frying

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Gather all your ingredients.
  2. Flake the salmon and place it in a mixing bowl.
  3. Combine panko breadcrumbs and flour in a separate bowl.
  4. Mix flaked salmon, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, chopped peppers, cilantro, and egg.
  5. Gently fold the wet and dry mixtures together until just incorporated.
  6. Chill the mixture for 15-20 minutes if desired.
  7. Shape the mixture into uniform patties.
  8. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  9. Carefully add croquettes to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes each side.
  10. Alternatively, bake in an oven at 400°F for 20-24 minutes.
  11. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
