- Heat the pan, warming 2 tablespoons of sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
- Stir in a large, thinly sliced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 3-4 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Incorporate 4 cups of cooked rice, breaking up clumps and warming through for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, stirring well and cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Cook the fried rice for an additional 5-7 minutes, allowing some parts to become slightly crispy.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
