Step-by-Step Instructions for Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir-Fry
  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain into 1/4-inch thick strips, ensuring tenderness in your Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir-Fry. Set aside.
  2. Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger. Slice the green onions, keeping white parts separate for cooking.
  3. Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and a splash of water until smooth.
  5. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  6. In the same wok, add the remaining oil, then add minced garlic, grated ginger, and white parts of green onions. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  7. Add broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  8. Pour the prepared sauce into the wok, bring to a gentle simmer, then toss in the cooked lo mein noodles.
  9. Return the stir-fried beef to the wok, tossing everything together for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  10. Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with reserved green parts and serve hot.
