Step-by-Step Instructions for Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir-Fry
- Slice the flank steak against the grain into 1/4-inch thick strips, ensuring tenderness in your Beef and Broccoli Noodle Stir-Fry. Set aside.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger. Slice the green onions, keeping white parts separate for cooking.
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, cornstarch, and a splash of water until smooth.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a wok over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same wok, add the remaining oil, then add minced garlic, grated ginger, and white parts of green onions. Stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add broccoli florets to the wok and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Pour the prepared sauce into the wok, bring to a gentle simmer, then toss in the cooked lo mein noodles.
- Return the stir-fried beef to the wok, tossing everything together for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Transfer to a serving dish, garnish with reserved green parts and serve hot.
