  • 2 cans Canned Sardines packed in olive oil or water
  • 2 large Fresh Limes juicy for a zesty kick
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Cilantro provides color and freshness
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs seasoned for crunch
  • 1/2 cup Margarita Mix includes lime juice and triple sec

  • 1 cup Bell Peppers diced
  • 1 cup Cheese mozzarella or feta

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine drained sardines, minced garlic, chopped cilantro, and half of the lime juice.
  3. In another bowl, whisk the margarita mix with the remaining lime juice until smooth.
  4. Spread the sardine mixture in the baking dish, then pour the margarita sauce over it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle seasoned breadcrumbs over the mixture to create a topping.
  6. Bake in the oven for 25 to 30 minutes until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
