Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash 1 cup of fresh cherries thoroughly, remove pits, and cut in half. Place in blender.
  2. Add 1/4 cup of cold water to the blender and blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth.
  3. Strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to extract cherry juice.
  4. Squeeze juice from 2 limes into the pitcher and stir well to combine.
  5. Stir in 2-3 tablespoons of simple syrup to taste, adjusting sweetness as desired.
  6. Pour in 1¾ cups of cold water and stir to fully combine all ingredients.
  7. Fill tall glasses with ice and pour the cherry-lime mixture over the ice.
  8. Add a splash of club soda or sparkling water to each glass for fizz.
  9. Garnish with lime slices and whole cherries before serving.
