- In a large sauté pan, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-low heat for about 2 minutes.
- Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Gradually whisk in 1 cup of vegetable broth into the sautéed garlic and butter, whisking for another 2 minutes.
- Sprinkle in 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour while stirring continuously for a couple of minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Slowly pour in 1 cup of heavy cream while stirring, then mix in ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Taste and adjust seasoning with kosher salt and fresh cracked black pepper as desired.
- Remove from heat and serve over pasta, grilled meats, or roasted vegetables, garnished with parsley.
