Ingredients
  

For the Patty
  • 1 pound Ground Pork can swap for ground turkey or chicken
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Basil can substitute with mint
  • 2 cloves Garlic can use minced garlic or garlic powder
  • 2 stalks Green Onions red onions are an alternative
  • 2 tablespoons Fish Sauce soy sauce is a good substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha adjust to your spice tolerance
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar honey or agave can be used
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch breadcrumbs can also be used
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt sea salt or Himalayan salt are alternatives
For the Sriracha Mayo
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise Greek yogurt can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil can substitute with olive oil
For Assembly
  • 4 pieces Brioche Buns whole wheat buns or lettuce wraps can be alternatives
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro parsley is a mild alternative
  • 1 optional Jalapeño can skip or use milder peppers
  • 1 cup Persian Cucumbers regular cucumbers or shredded carrots are alternatives

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork with freshly chopped basil, minced garlic, sliced green onions, fish sauce, sriracha, sugar, cornstarch, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well incorporated. Form into four patties, about ⅓ inch thick.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, additional green onions, and sriracha until smooth. Adjust sriracha to taste.
  3. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat with toasted sesame oil. Cook the patties for 5 minutes on one side until browned, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  4. Cut brioche buns in half and toast them for about 2-3 minutes until golden.
  5. Spread sriracha mayo on each side of the toasted buns. Layer with pickled veggies, cilantro, jalapeño, and the cooked pork patty. Add cucumber slices before placing the top bun.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!
