  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter avoid natural peanut butter
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract optional
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour can substitute with gluten-free flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Decoration
  • 24 pieces Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Candy Eyeballs optional

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Chill Reese’s by placing them in the freezer for about 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
  3. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (2-3 minutes).
  4. Mix in peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
  6. Shape dough into 1-inch balls and roll in granulated sugar before placing on baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-11 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  8. Press a chilled Reese’s cup into the center of each cookie immediately after baking.
  9. Cool on baking sheet for 15-20 minutes.
  10. Melt chocolate chips and use to draw spider legs and attach candy eyeballs.
