For the Flavor

  • 1-2 sticks Butter For the garlic butter sauce.
  • 3-4 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 1 juice Lemon For the garlic butter sauce.
  • 8-10 cups Water For boiling.
  • 1-2 cans Beer Optional, use lagers or IPAs.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large pot, combine water with beer, if using. Stir in Cajun seasoning. Bring to a boil for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add potatoes and corn, reduce heat to medium-high, and let simmer for about 10 minutes.
  3. Introduce sausage, shrimp, and crab to the pot. Cook for an additional 5-8 minutes until shrimp turn pink.
  4. In a separate saucepan, melt butter, add minced garlic, and sauté for about 2-3 minutes. Stir in lemon juice.
  5. Drain the seafood boil in a colander and transfer to a large serving platter, then drizzle garlic butter over it.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley or lemon wedges and serve warm.
