- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning until just combined.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and space them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until browned and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
- While baking, prepare the cranberry glaze by heating cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, vinegar, and optional brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Once meatballs are cooked, let them cool slightly and thread 2-3 meatballs onto each skewer.
- Brush the skewers with the cranberry glaze or serve it in a dipping bowl.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
