  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs Italian breadcrumbs recommended.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Fresh cheese for best results.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (or Dried) Dried works in a pinch.
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced for flavor.
  • 1 large Egg Can substitute with a flax egg.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Fresh ground preferred.
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder Substitute with finely chopped onion if desired.
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce Homemade is best.
  • 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce Use your favorite brand.
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar Can swap with lemon juice.
  • 1 tbsp Brown Sugar (optional) Adjust based on sweetness preference.
For Assembly
  • 8 pcs Skewers Soak wooden skewers if using.
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley (optional for garnish) For decoration and freshness.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef or turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, pepper, onion powder, and Italian seasoning until just combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and space them evenly on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Bake in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes, until browned and cooked to an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. While baking, prepare the cranberry glaze by heating cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, vinegar, and optional brown sugar in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes.
  6. Once meatballs are cooked, let them cool slightly and thread 2-3 meatballs onto each skewer.
  7. Brush the skewers with the cranberry glaze or serve it in a dipping bowl.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
