Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In the same skillet, add mushrooms, shallots, and garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden, then stir in thyme, season, and cool.
  3. Roll out puff pastry, cut into 3x3 inch squares. Place mushroom duxelles and beef in center, add mustard if desired, seal edges.
  4. Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush assembled bites with egg, bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
