Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice the round steak against the grain into even pieces, about 1 inch thick.
  2. Combine minced garlic, olive oil, and seasoning in a bowl. Coat the steak evenly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil and sear steak slices for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Sauté diced onions and baby carrots in the same skillet for about 5 minutes until onions are soft.
  5. Stir in mushroom soup and simmer while scraping browned bits from the skillet for about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Return the sliced steak to the skillet and simmer on low for about 10 minutes.
  7. Serve the steak and sauce over creamy mashed potatoes or rice, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
