Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté chopped fresh spinach for 3–4 minutes until wilted.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine sautéed spinach, ricotta, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Unfold puff pastry sheets on a floured surface and cut into 4 to 6 equal squares.
  5. Place 1-2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each pastry square, fold, and seal.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg or plant-based milk for a vegan option.
  7. Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes before serving warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
