Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Mango Cookies
  1. Cream the softened salted butter with granulated and brown sugars for 2-3 minutes until creamy.
  2. Add one egg and a splash of milk to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until well combined.
  3. Gradually add flour and baking powder, mixing until just combined.
  4. Fold in diced mango pieces until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  5. Chill the dough for 30 minutes to up to 2 days, covered with plastic wrap.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  7. Scoop 1.5 tablespoons of dough, rolling into a ball and placing on a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 14-16 minutes until golden around the edges.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  10. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk (or mango juice), and vanilla extract until smooth for the glaze.
  11. Drizzle the glaze over cooled cookies and allow to set before serving.
