  • 1 pound Ground Beef Use 80/20 for flavor
  • 1 medium Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Can substitute with Neufchâtel
  • 2 cups Cheddar Cheese Shredded
  • 3 large Eggs Whisked
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Substitute with half-and-half or coconut cream
  • 8 slices Bacon Cooked and crumbled
For Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Pickles Sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Parsley or Chives Chopped

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for 5–7 minutes.
  3. Add onions and garlic to the skillet and sauté for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to low, add cream cheese and stir until melted.
  5. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream, season with salt and pepper.
  6. Transfer the beef and cream cheese mixture into a greased baking dish and pour the egg mixture on top.
  7. Cook bacon in a small frying pan until crispy, crumble it and sprinkle over the cheese layer.
  8. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
  9. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes, then garnish with optional toppings before serving.
