Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by pouring 2 cups of filtered water into a medium saucepan and place it over medium heat until it reaches a gentle boil.
  2. Add 3 tablespoons of dried lavender flowers to the pot and lower the heat slightly, letting it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and cover. Allow the lavender to steep for 15 to 20 minutes.
  4. Strain the lavender mixture into a large pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
  5. Add 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice to the lavender-infused water, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  6. Pour in the remaining 2 cups of cool, filtered water and stir until fully combined.
  7. Serve the lemonade over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint if desired.
