Cupcake Preparation

  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, lavender, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
  6. Spoon the batter into cupcake liners and bake for 18-20 minutes.
  7. Cool the cupcakes for 5 minutes in the pan before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Prepare the frosting by beating butter until creamy, then adding powdered sugar, honey, and vanilla.
  9. Frost the cooled cupcakes and garnish with dried lavender.
