For the Sauce
  • 1-2 tbsp Calabrian Chili Paste Adjust for spice level
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 tbsp salted butter Do not substitute with oil
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
For the Fresh Finish
  • 0.5 cups cilantro, chopped
  • 1 pinch salt To taste

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt 6 tablespoons of salted butter with 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil. Allow to foam gently for about 3 minutes.
  2. Add 10 minced cloves of garlic to the pan, stirring continuously for 3 to 5 minutes until fragrant and soft but not browned.
  3. Incorporate 1-2 tablespoons of Calabrian chili paste into the skillet and stir for an additional minute, then add half of your chopped cilantro.
  4. Season shrimp with salt, then place in the skillet in a single layer. Cook undisturbed for 2 to 4 minutes until pink and opaque.
  5. Once cooked through, sprinkle remaining cilantro over the dish and serve immediately with crusty bread.
