Making the Rolls
- Heat the whole milk to 120°F-130°F. Combine with sugar and yeast in a bowl; let sit until frothy.
- Mix in melted butter, eggs, and salt. Gradually stir in flour until a soft dough forms. Knead for 5-6 minutes.
- Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour until doubled.
- Cook the bacon until crispy. Allow to cool and chop into pieces. Mix cheeses, herbs, and part of the butter for filling.
- After rising, punch down dough, roll into a 20x20-inch square. Spread seasoned butter over, sprinkle with bacon and cheese.
- Roll into a log, cut into 12 pieces. Arrange in a lined dish and proof for 30-45 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix melted butter with pressed garlic and parsley. Brush over rolls right after baking.
