Cooking Instructions
- Cook the rice according to the package instructions and keep it warm.
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium-high heat, then sear the shrimp for 1–2 minutes on each side until cooked.
- In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds.
- If desired, sprinkle in 1 tablespoon of flour into the garlic mixture and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of heavy cream; simmer for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and the juice of 1/2 lemon, adjusting seasoning as needed.
- Return the seared shrimp to the skillet and cook for an additional 1–2 minutes.
- Serve the creamy garlic shrimp over warm rice, garnish with parsley.
