For Dipping

Method
 

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Open the refrigerated crescent roll dough and carefully separate it into 8 triangles.
  3. Place a generous amount of mozzarella cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Add 3 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
  5. Starting at the wide end, roll the dough towards the narrow point, tucking in the filling as you go.
  6. If desired, brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.
  7. Place the rolled crescents onto your prepared baking sheet.
  8. Melt the butter and mix in the Italian seasoning. Brush this over each roll.
  9. Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
  10. Cool for 3 minutes before serving warm, optionally with marinara sauce.
