- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Open the refrigerated crescent roll dough and carefully separate it into 8 triangles.
- Place a generous amount of mozzarella cheese at the wide end of each triangle.
- Add 3 slices of pepperoni on top of the cheese.
- Starting at the wide end, roll the dough towards the narrow point, tucking in the filling as you go.
- If desired, brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg.
- Place the rolled crescents onto your prepared baking sheet.
- Melt the butter and mix in the Italian seasoning. Brush this over each roll.
- Bake for 12-14 minutes until golden and cheese is melted.
- Cool for 3 minutes before serving warm, optionally with marinara sauce.
