Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the semi-sweet chocolate, milk chocolate chips, and sweetened condensed milk. Heat over low temperature, stirring continuously until the mixture is glossy and smooth, about 5–7 minutes.
  2. While the chocolate melts, prepare your baking pan by lining a rectangular 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  3. Pour half of the luscious melted chocolate mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly.
  4. In a separate saucepan, combine the granulated sugar, fresh cream, egg yolks, and unsalted butter over low heat. Stir this mixture gently for about 10–12 minutes until it thickens nicely.
  5. Once the coconut-walnut filling is ready, evenly spread it over the first layer of chocolate in the baking pan. Then, pour the remaining melted chocolate mixture on top.
  6. Cover the pan with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 3–4 hours or until the fudge is completely set.
  7. Once removed from the pan, use a sharp knife to cut your delicious German Chocolate with Coconut & Walnuts into squares.
