  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Adjust according to heat tolerance
  • 1 tbsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 1 tbsp Fenugreek Leaves (Fresh/Dry) Substitute with common herbs if needed
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream Optional, for added richness

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, grated onion, egg, panko breadcrumbs (or chickpea flour), cilantro, mint, ginger garlic paste, and spices. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Shape into 16 smooth koftas and place on a lined baking sheet. Preheat broiler to high and broil koftas for 3-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. In a deep pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Stir in ginger garlic paste and cook for an additional minute, then add ground spices.
  5. Mix in chopped tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes. Stir in whipped yogurt, fenugreek leaves, and enough water to reach desired consistency. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Gently add broiled koftas to the sauce, coating evenly. Cook for another 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh cilantro and a drizzle of heavy cream if desired.
