Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine shredded hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, sour cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is uniformly thick.
  2. Use your hands to form the mixture into bite-sized balls, about 1-2 inches in diameter. Place each ball onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  3. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Once preheated, bake the Iowa Party Bites for approximately 25 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the baking sheet from the oven and check for doneness with a toothpick. If needed, return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
