Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Drain excess fat and stir in diced tomatoes, diced tomatoes with chiles, tomato paste, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; simmer for 15-20 minutes.
  4. Cook egg noodles in salted water according to package instructions, then drain.
  5. Toss noodles with sour cream until coated, then spread in greased baking dish.
  6. Pour the beef mixture over the noodles and layer with cheddar, parmesan, and mozzarella cheeses.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Let the casserole rest for 5 minutes before serving.
