  • 1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Parsley optional garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and milk until smooth. Add garlic powder, black pepper, 2 cups of cheddar cheese, and diced ham, and mix well.
  3. Spread half of the tater tots evenly across the bottom of the greased baking dish.
  4. Pour the ham and cheese mixture over the first layer of tater tots and spread it evenly.
  5. Top with the remaining tater tots in a single layer.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil, sprinkle 1 cup of cheddar cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 15 minutes.
  7. Let the casserole rest for about 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
