  • 2 large Eggs Flax eggs can be used for a vegan option.
  • 1/2 cup Vegetable oil Can substitute with melted coconut oil.
  • 1/4 cup Water Brewed coffee can be used for extra flavor.
For the Decorations
  • 1 cup Chocolate frosting Homemade version is a personal touch.
  • 1 cup Crushed Oreos Can also use chocolate graham cracker crumbs.
  • 5 pieces Candy tombstones Look for chocolate-covered marshmallows.
  • 1 cup Gummy worms Candy spiders can be an alternative.
  • 1 tube Green icing or fondant Homemade or store-bought.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a square baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Stir until smooth and lump-free.
  3. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
  4. Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 15–20 minutes until cool to the touch.
  5. Spread a layer of chocolate frosting on top of the cooled brownies.
  6. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top of the frosting, resembling dirt.
  7. Place candy tombstones on top of the Oreo ‘dirt’, arranging them at different angles.
  8. Add gummy worms around and on top of the brownies, and pipe green icing or shape fondant for grass.
  9. Slice the brownies into squares and serve on a Halloween-themed platter.
