Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Slice ciabatta bread lengthwise and brush insides with olive oil. Toast cut-side down in a skillet over medium heat for 3–4 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Spread garlic aioli on one half and drizzle balsamic glaze or pesto on the other half.
  3. Stack grilled chicken or turkey on the aioli side and layer fresh mozzarella or brie cheese on top. Broil in the oven for 1–2 minutes until cheese bubbles.
  4. Layer roasted red bell peppers and arugula or baby spinach on top of the cheese. Optionally add caramelized onions.
  5. Press the top half of the ciabatta down gently and slice in half to serve immediately.
