  • 1 tablespoon baking powder check for freshness
  • 1 teaspoon salt consider using flaky sea salt
  • 1/4 cup olive oil melted butter is a substitute
  • 1 cup warm water ensure it's warm, not hot
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary chopped, can swap with thyme or oregano

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Mix until there are no lumps.
  3. In a separate bowl, pour in 1 cup of warm water and 1/4 cup of olive oil. Mix gently.
  4. Add 3 cloves of minced garlic and 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh rosemary into the batter and stir gently.
  5. Lightly grease a muffin tin and fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with the batter.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the tops of each muffin cup.
  7. Place the muffin tin in the oven and bake for 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes, then transfer muffins to a wire rack.
