  • 2 cups self-raising flour Don't substitute with almond or gluten-free flour without adjustments.
  • 1 cup Greek yoghurt Full-fat plain yogurt works as a great substitute.
Filling
  • 4 slices bacon Cook until crispy for extra crunch.
  • 1 cup grated cheese Opt for any melting cheese like cheddar or mozzarella.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  2. Cook diced bacon in a frying pan over medium heat until crispy, about 5–7 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine self-raising flour and Greek yogurt until a shaggy dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead gently for 1–2 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into four portions, roll into balls and flatten slightly on the baking sheet.
  6. Top each roll with crispy bacon and grated cheese.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
