Step-by-Step Instructions for Energizing Green Smoothie
  1. Wash the fresh spinach, cucumber, and green apple under cool running water. Peel the banana and slice it into pieces. Core the apple and chop it, and slice the cucumber for blending.
  2. In a blender, combine the prepared spinach, banana, cucumber, and green apple. Add chia seeds and pour in almond milk. Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top.
  3. Blend on high for 30 to 45 seconds until smooth and creamy, using a tamper if needed.
  4. Taste the smoothie, and if desired, add honey or maple syrup for sweetness or more almond milk for a thinner texture.
