Preparation Steps
- Prep the Molds: Lightly grease serving glasses or molds with a neutral oil.
- Soak Gelatin: Place gelatin sheets in cold water and soak for 5-10 minutes.
- Heat Cream Mixture: Combine whole milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until small bubbles form.
- Incorporate Gelatin: Squeeze excess water from gelatin and whisk into hot cream mixture until dissolved.
- Flavor the Mixture: Add vanilla extract and loose leaf Earl Grey tea, steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain and Mold: Strain mixture through a fine sieve into molds.
- Chill: Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
- Serve: Dip molds in hot water, run a knife around edges, and invert onto serving plates.
