For Flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 tablespoons Loose Leaf Earl Grey Tea replace with regular tea bags if loose leaf is unavailable

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Prep the Molds: Lightly grease serving glasses or molds with a neutral oil.
  2. Soak Gelatin: Place gelatin sheets in cold water and soak for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Heat Cream Mixture: Combine whole milk, heavy cream, and granulated sugar in a medium saucepan over medium heat until small bubbles form.
  4. Incorporate Gelatin: Squeeze excess water from gelatin and whisk into hot cream mixture until dissolved.
  5. Flavor the Mixture: Add vanilla extract and loose leaf Earl Grey tea, steep for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Strain and Mold: Strain mixture through a fine sieve into molds.
  7. Chill: Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.
  8. Serve: Dip molds in hot water, run a knife around edges, and invert onto serving plates.
