  • 3 large Eggs Substitute with applesauce or flax eggs for vegan
  • 1/2 cup Oil Vegetable, canola, or coconut oil
  • 1 cup Water Ensure it's at room temperature
For the Decorations
  • 1 pack Fondant For creating spooky eyeball shapes

Method
 

Cupcake Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare your cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a large bowl, combine red velvet cake mix with eggs, oil, and water. Mix on medium speed for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Fill each cupcake liner about two-thirds full with the batter.
  4. Bake for approximately 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cupcakes to cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  6. Once cooled, decorate with fondant or your choice of toppings.
