Step-by-Step Instructions for Mummy Oreo Truffles
  1. Crush about 20 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs. Combine with 8 ounces of softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl and blend until smooth. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  2. Shape the Oreo mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for an additional 15 minutes.
  3. Melt 12 ounces of white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth. Add food coloring if desired.
  4. Dip each truffle into the melted white chocolate using a fork, allowing excess to drip off before returning them to the parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle more melted white chocolate over each truffle to mimic mummy bandages and immediately add candy eyes.
  6. Refrigerate for at least another 30 minutes before serving. Arrange them on a platter to enjoy.
