- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- Mash 2-3 very ripe bananas in a large mixing bowl and combine with sugars and butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
- Sift in flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon, folding gently until just combined.
- Pour in milk and achieve a smooth batter consistency.
- In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
- Layer half of the batter in the pan, sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture, then add remaining batter and top with the rest of the swirl mixture.
- If desired, mix brown sugar and cinnamon for topping and sprinkle on top before baking.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
