Step-by-Step Instructions for Chicken Zucchini Bake
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Brown cubed chicken for 5-7 minutes until golden, then remove from heat.
- Combine sliced zucchinis and bell peppers with garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Toss with remaining olive oil.
- Layer half of the seasoned vegetable mixture in the bottom of a baking dish.
- Top with browned chicken and spoon marinara sauce over it.
- Layer remaining vegetables on top of the chicken and marinara.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes, uncovering for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is golden.
