  1. Cook the bacon strips in a skillet over medium heat for about 8–10 minutes until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease and cool before crumbling.
  2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and place the unbaked crust in a pie pan. Pre-bake the crust for 10–12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
  3. Allow the crust to cool for about 2 minutes at room temperature.
  4. Layer crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, and spinach evenly in the cooled crust.
  5. In a mixing bowl, whisk together room temperature eggs, half and half, salt, and black pepper until fully combined and slightly frothy.
  6. Lower the oven temperature to 375°F (190°C) and pour the custard mixture over the layers in the crust. Bake for 35–45 minutes until edges are set and the center jiggles slightly.
