- Prepare the Crockpot by spraying the inside with non-stick cooking spray.
- Layer half of the frozen pierogi at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the sliced kielbasa followed by half of the chopped onion.
- In a separate bowl, mix the condensed cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and melted butter.
- Pour half of the creamy soup mixture over the first layer of pierogi, kielbasa, and onion.
- Repeat the process with the remaining frozen pierogi, kielbasa, onion, and soup mixture.
- Cover and cook on low heat for 4-5 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped chives.
