  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest Enhances lemon flavor
  • 1 clove Minced Garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Chop shrimp into small pieces or pulse in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp with panko, mayonnaise, egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Check the consistency; add more panko if mixture is too wet.
  4. Shape the mixture into small patties about 2-3 inches in diameter and let rest.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  6. Fry the patties in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together aioli ingredients until smooth.
  8. Serve shrimp cakes warm with lemon aioli for dipping.
