Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, hot sauce, unsalted butter, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes. Stir regularly for about 5 minutes until melted and smooth.
  2. Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne, salt, and black pepper.
  4. In another bowl, beat the eggs and milk together until smooth.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Dredge each shrimp in the flour mix, then dip in the egg wash, and coat again in the flour mixture.
  7. Fry the shrimp in batches for 2-3 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. In a bowl, add the hot fried shrimp and drizzle with hot honey sauce, gently tossing to coat.
  9. Serve immediately on a platter with extra sauce on the side.
